TAYLOR, George Mallett - Passed away peacefully, aged 88, at Lakeview Manor, Beaverton, on November 16, 2018.
He will be dearly missed by his wife Margaret of 61 years, his sons Philip and Paul, grandchildren Luca and Amelia, brother Harold (Mary) in UK and dear friends Mary and Percy Bailey (family).
Born in 1930 in Yorkshire, UK, he was brought up in the Dr. Barnardo's orphanage until 14.
He served in the RAF as Senior Aircraftsman in Egypt, then returned to England working as a carpenter/joiner.
George moved to Canada in 1956 settling in Scarborough and married Margaret, finishing his working years with Queens Park, retiring in 1992.
George will be cremated, no service at his request.
