JOHNSTON, Averil Margaret (nee Morgan) - Passed away on November 29, 2018. Averil had 85 great years and 4 bad weeks.
Averil is survived by her daughter, Leslie-Ann, son Rob and his wife Anna.
Averil's husband, Gordon, passed away in 2014.
She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her grandchildren Melissa (Kurt), Gregory, Cameron, Michelle, Megan and Jessica.
'Though her smile is gone forever and her hands we cannot touch, we still have her in our memories and our heart.'
Averil was born in Swansea, Wales. She was one of 5 children. Averil married Gordon Johnston in 1956. Their first child, Robert Johnston, was born in London, UK in 1957. Averil and Gord immigrated to Canada in 1958. Their second child, Leslie-Ann, was born in Scarborough in 1963.
Many relatives and friends in Canada and the United Kingdom will miss Averil's kindness, generosity and positive outlook.
Visitation will be held at McDougall & Brown Funeral Home, Scarborough Chapel, 2900 Kingston Road, Toronto on Saturday, December 8th, from 12 to 1 pm. Memorial Service from 1 to 2pm. Reception 2 to 3pm.
