DOWNER, Hilda May (nee SPROULE) - Age 87, passed away on Monday, December 3, 2018, in Mississauga.
Born in Toronto in 1931.
Beloved Daughter of Grace and Thomas Sproule.
Beloved Wife of the late Charles Sydney Downer.
Loving Mother to sons, Jeff (wife Tia) Gary, David (wife Nicole), dear Sister to Ina Joan Finlay.
Cherished Grandmother of Sasha, Charles, Lauren and Charlie.
Beloved friend of many. Hilda was an avid tennis player and golfer. She will be remembered fondly for her strong will, perseverance and her ability to smile through whatever life threw her way.
She was a proud woman who loved her family and loved to have fun. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
