BUENO, Julius (Cezar) – It is with great sadness that the family of Julius Cezar Bueno announces his passing after a brief illness, on Wednesday December 12, 2018 at the age of 67 years.
Julius will be lovingly remembered by his wife Mariel, his children Justin, Maria (Gerald), and Michelle (Damiaan). Proud grandfather of Paul, Marcus, and Zoë.
Loving brother of Juliet, Romeo, and Portia. Julius will be missed by his many nephews, nieces, extended family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Missionaries of Charity.
Army veteran and sergeant of the Scout Rangers in the Philippines, as well as a proud Knight of Columbus, Julius will be remembered for his commitment and dedication to his home and parish community and for his profound faith in God. His love for bringing people together in order for them to feel welcome and included will remain in the hearts of those he touched with his generous spirit, his smile, and his passion for life. Weary of reading other descriptions of someone’s courageous battle with death, Julius wanted it known that cancer did not win because in the end, he will be celebrated as 'the victor' for now getting to see Jesus.
Visitation will be held at Scott Funeral Home, Mississauga Chapel, 420 Dundas Street East, Mississauga, ON., on Thursday, December 20th, from 2pm to 4pm and from 6pm to 9pm. Funeral Mass at Nativity of our Lord Catholic Church, 480 Rathburn Road, Etobicoke, ON., on Saturday, December 22nd, at 10am. Interment Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, Woodbridge, ON.
