HAASE, James Edward - Passed away suddenly on January 2, 2019. He was 68.
Jim was a man that walked to the beat of his own drum…or guitar as it were.
Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Jim was the third of eight children.
His passion for learning was eclipsed only by the love he had for his wife, Eva.
They met while both on adventures in Europe 45 years ago.
From there they were inseparable and their journeys continued together taking them many places. They eventually settled in Toronto where they raised their family.
He worked with and for his brother-in-law Les and was always grateful for his friendship. Jim is survived by his wife Eva, his children Anais Haase Zuniga (Juan Pablo), Colin Haase and Laura Heinrich (Robert).
Jim is the grandfather to four beautiful girls Abigail, Reyna, Vivian and Rikki. We all loved him very much.
Visitation January 9th 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. and Service and Reception January 10th 1-3 p.m. to be held at Paul O'Connor Funeral Home.
