OSMENDA, Janina Danuta (Kleczkowska) - Passed away on Wednesday January 2, 2019 with her family by her side.
Beloved wife of 48 years to Marian, she leaves behind her daughter Beata, son Piotr and granddaughter Gabriela.
She is survived by her sister Barbara.
Janina was born in Poland where she was a teacher, loved by her students, with whom she still kept in touch. For the past 25 years she lived in Toronto and visited friends and family in Poland regularly.
She loved nature walks, books, music and dancing. Generous and caring, always there for her family.
Those who knew Janina described her as a strong, energetic woman who brought joy to the lives of others. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, Toronto on Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 1pm to 3pm. A Funeral Service will follow in the chapel at 3pm.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Janina. Cremation is to take place and an interment will follow at a later date.
