McDERMOTT, Darcy George Jr. - Born August 22, 1993 at Mount Sinai Hospital at 11:15 p.m.
It is with great sadness that the family of Darcy McDermott announces his passing on January 4, 2019 at age 25, at his residence in Hamilton.
Sadly and greatly missed by his mother, Evelyn MacGillivary; father Darcy McDermott; sister Ashleigh Casey; brothers Matthew McDermott, Andrew McDermott, Jeremy McDermott, Daniel McDermott, and Nicholas MacGillivary; brother-in-law Mike Casey; sisters-in-law Emily Sylvia and Chantal Lengel; nieces Jaylynn, Keira, Maya and Rose; and nephews Karter, Jake and Gabe.
Junior loved the outdoors and SCUBA diving. He was eager to learn new things, going to get his G.E.D., attending truck school and he held several licences. He was very creative and ran his own business. With his big heart he sponsored six children.
Goodbye to a wonderful son, brother and a beautiful soul. May you rest in peace.
We love you Junior, you will be missed.
Visitation at Giffen-Mack funeral home, 4115 Lawrence Ave. East, Scarborough on January 12th from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service there at 1:00 p.m.
