BECHERT, Marguerite ‘Margo’ Ellen - October 27, 1922 – January 4, 2019 - Margo was born in Czechoslovakia and moved with her parents to Toronto in 1940, where she lived a very active and full life.
She was a Life Member of the Toronto Ski Club (skiing was her passion).
In 1948 she became a member of the Toronto Cricket Skating Club where she became very active in swimming, lawn bowling, croquet (where she was an original member of the section) and bridge.
Margo had a great interest in figure skating and knew the skaters and coaches by name.
She will be missed by fellow members and friends at the club where she served on many committees and made many new members welcome to the club.
At Margo’s request there will be no service or celebration of her life.
