WALDER, Heinz - Passed away at home, surrounded by his family on January 11, 2019.
He was born in Zurich (Mannedorf) Switzerland to Lydia and Ernst Walder. He was predeceased by his parents; brother, René; nephew Reto; and sister-in-law, Heidi.
Heinz will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 37 years, Jo-Anne (née Melnichuk); sons Christopher (Meghan) and Jonathan (Mila); nephews, Peter (Sabine) and Bruno (Nicole); and his dear friends, the Schelling class, whose friendship extends back to grade school and across continents.
Heinz worked for Pringle and Booth for over 30 years as a photo retoucher.
He will be forever remembered as a loving husband and father, and always putting others before himself.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Heinz's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice.
As per Heinz's wishes, no service will be held. The family will gather to celebrate his life at a later date.
