McGIRR, Carol - 1937-2019 Peacefully passed away January 2, 2019.
Predeceased by her parents Ethel and Carl and sister Marilyn.
She will be missed by her niece Kerri (Bob), great-niece Christine (Todd), great-nephew Sean (Jody) and 5 great-great-nieces and nephews.
A well loved teacher/librarian at RH McGregor PS in the former East York.
Carol was also an internationally recognized storyteller.
Her family would like to thank Dr. Chan and staff at Michael Garron Hospital, Haemodialysis Department for the incredible care she received.
Interment of ashes will take place in the spring in North Bay.
A memorial concert is being planned.
