HANTZAKOS, Maria - (3 September, 1944 – 12 February, 2019)
Maria Hantzakos was born in Gorani, Sparta, Greece and passed away on February 12, 2019 at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in her 75th year.
Beloved wife of the late Konstantine Hantzakos. Loving mother of Elias and Stavroula (Stratis). She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Agis, Maria, Konstantine and Leda.
Also survived by her sister Vasiliki (Dino) and her brother George. Maria will be fondly remembered by her brother in law John, her sister in law Barbara, her many nieces, nephews and their families.
Visitation will be held at the Jerrett funeral home, 6191 Yonge Street, North York (south of Steeles Avenue), on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 19th at 11 a.m. at St. George’s Greek Orthodox Church, (115 Bond St.). Interment to follow at York Cemetery.
