FUNARI, Mario - Passed away on February 12th, 2019. He was born in Malito, Italy in 1933 and married Anna Giordano in 1971, who preceded him in death.
Mario immigrated to Canada in 1951, and worked in the Madsen Mine in Red Lake during the 1950’s. He spent 30 years of his life working for American Motors and Chrysler Canada. He enjoyed gardening, good food and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his sisters Sara and Lisetta, his two children, Onorina and Frank, his son-in-law, Paul, and his three grandchildren, Juliana, Angela and Alesandro.
Visitation will be held at Scott Funeral Home, Brampton Chapel, 289 Main Street North, Brampton, On, on Friday, February 15th, from 2pm to 5pm and from 7pm to 9pm. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, 115 Vodden Street East, Brampton, On, on Saturday, February 16th, at 10:30am. Entombment Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, Woodbridge.
