ANTOINE, Michael Alvan - Michael Alvan Antoine passed away peacefully on February 13th, 2019, in his 103rd year.
Michael was born on April 17th, 1916. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 51 years, Marjorie (née Joseph).
He will be missed by his 11 children, Earl, Monica (Lincoln), Derek, Dianne (Arif), Jasmine (Michael), Anne Marie (Reynold), Gail (Colin), Garvin, Maureen (Earl), Dave (Karlene), Jacqueline; 35 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren; and many more family members and friends.
Michael will be forever remembered for his infectious smile and his love of dancing.
Visitations for Michael Alvan will be held on Friday, February 22nd from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Giffen-Mack Funeral Home, 4115 Lawrence Ave. E., Scarborough, Ontario.
A Funeral Mass will be held the following day, Saturday, February 23rd, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Parish (Highland Creek), 200 Morrish Rd., Scarborough. Cremation will take place on Monday, February 25th at the Forest Lawn Crematorium, 4570 Yonge St., Toronto.
Michael will be laid to rest on Thursday, February 28th at 11 a.m. at Highland Memory Gardens, 33 Memory Gardens Lane, North York, Ontario.
