ABATE, Giuseppe - 1938 - 2019 - At the age of 81 years, Giuseppe passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side, on Saturday, March 16, 2019, at Toronto Western Hospital.
Beloved and cherished husband of Rosina.
Loving father of Maria (Anthony), Sam (Vicky) and Manny (Suzy).
Devoted Nonno of all his grandchildren who deeply loved him.
He will be truly missed and fondly remembered by all his immediate and extended family, friends and neighbours.
He will forever be remembered as an affable and courageous man, with great wisdom and resilience, a reverence for his Catholic faith, a charismatic personality, and a great respect for all people. He lived every day as a new and beautiful gift from God, embracing all that it had to offer with grace and fortitude.
We will miss his many talents, his self-confidence, his great sense of humour, and his positive outlook. He has left all those who have come to know him with fond memories that will always be cherished.
Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Homes, Dufferin Chapel, Toronto on Thursday, March 21st, 2019 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm and 6:00pm - 9:00pm. The service will take place at St. Clare's Church, 1118 St. Clair Avenue West, Toronto on Friday, March 22nd, 2019 at 10:00am.
