CORTESE, Melina - God called Melina peacefully on May 3, 2019 at the age of 91.
She is now reunited with her loving husband Giuseppe.
Cherished by her dear children, Mary (Sandy Delisle), Marcella (Nicola Calvieri) and Carlo (Lucy).
Proud grandmother to Leeann, Domenic (Samantha), Elizabeth (Thomas), Giordana (Agostino), Giuseppe and Daniel.
Melina will always be remembered by her sister in law Olivia and joins her siblings in heaven. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends.
Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Maple Chapel (211 McNaughton Rd. East.) on Sunday, May 5, 2019 from 2:00 - 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday May 6, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. at St. David’s Roman Catholic Church (2601 Major Mackenzie Dr. east of Jane St.). Entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery (on Bathurst St., north of Finch Ave.).
If so desired, donations in memory of Melina may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
