FRANCISCO, Doreen Margaret (Husbands) - Jan 4, 1927 – May 27, 2019 - Bell Canada Retiree - It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the death of our matriarch who died peacefully at Seven Oaks Long Term Care.
Doreen was the last and 10th child who was predeceased by parents and all siblings, as well as her late husband Justin Francisco(Eddie).
Mourning her loss are children Michael(Cheryl), Jennifer Singh, Gavin(Denise), Bernie(Simon), UK and Gerald(Yvonne), USA; Grandchildren Sheldon(Kara), Afiya(Aaron), Sacha(Lauren), Jan(Gary) UK, Alia(Ryan), Nissa(Vaughn), Janelle(Robbie), Jared and Quinn(Mike); nieces Lauren, Jackie, Sharon, Debra, Yasmin and nephew Neville, and 13 great grandchildren, as well as the Ahwah
cousins.
For us all, the light is a bit dimmer with her death, but her love, generosity and strength are legacies that will live within us forever. Our thanks to the fifth floor staff, Seven Oaks for their care of mum over the five years she lived there.
The funeral mass was held at St. Barnabas, 10 Washburn Way, Scarborough on May 28th at 10:30 AM. A reception will follow at Highland Funeral Home, Scarborough.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
