MAIO, Rose (Cientanni) - With sadness we announce the passing of Rose Maio on May 27, 2019 at the age of 91.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Giuseppe Maio and daughter Patricia Maio-MacLean.
Rose is loved immensely and will be missed by her children Phyllis (Livio), Mary (Richard), Louise (Cliff), and Joanne (Larry). Proud nonna of Ryan, Joseph, Rachel, VictoriaRose, Alexandra, Alexander, Lucas, Nigel, and Nicholas.
Rose will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her.
She was always admired by her giving nature, strength and selflessness.
Visitations will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home, Dufferin chapel, Toronto on Thursday May 30 and Friday May 31 from 2-4, 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 72 Mansfield Ave. Toronto on Saturday June 1, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow.
In memory of Rose, donations may be made to the SickKids Foundation.
