Tymczyszyn JoeTYMCZYSZYN, Joseph - Peacefully on June 25, 2019 at Toronto Western Hospital. Joseph Tymczyszyn passed away in his 93rd year, alongside Maria, his wife of 57 years.

Loving father of Bohdan (Chrystyna Stasyszyn), Dido of Laryssa (Wesley), and Mark.

Pra-Dido of Nora and Leo.

He will be missed dearly by his family in both Canada and Ukraine.

Born in Zahirya, in L’vivska Oblast, he landed in Halifax and found a home in Toronto where they raised their son. They helped family and friends come to Canada and enjoyed supporting the Ukrainian community.

He will be remembered for his love of athletics, seemingly endless catches of muskie at the cottage, and how happy he was when he was with his family.

The family would like to extend our sincere thanks to the paramedics and hospital staff at Toronto Western and St Josephs hospitals for the heartfelt care and empathy.

As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joseph’s name to St Demetrius Ukrainian Church.

Visitation will be held at Cardinal Funeral Home, Annette Chapel, Toronto on Monday July 8th from 6pm-9pm with Panachyda at 7pm.  Divine Liturgy will be held at St. Demetrius Church, 135 Larose Avenue, Etobicoke on Tuesday July 9th at 10am. Burial to follow.
