NIKOLAKAKOS, Dimitra - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear, mother and grandmother on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at Westbury Manor at the age of 92.
Dimitra will now be reunited with her beloved husband Christos (March 31, 2019).
Much loved mother of Georgina (Carmen) Pasqua, Pat (Kosta) Anagnos, Effie (Joe) Guerrisi, the late Lily (Tony) Niokastritis, and Mary (Gilbert) Carvalho.
Adoring Yiayia of John (Patricia) Pasqua, Chris (Melissa) Pasqua, Stephanie (Seamus) Tynan, Jennifer (Tony) Divitaris, Jackie Guerrisi, Peter Anagnos, Peter Niokastritis, Diana (Jefferey) DeMedeiros, Linda Alagas, Andrew Guerrisi, the late Jamie Niokastritis, Kristin Carvalho, Amanda Niokastritis, Daniel (Diana) Guerrisi, Jaimee Niokastritis, and Anthony Carvalho. Proud Big Yiayia of Eva, Mila, Alivia, Sophia, Evan, Fintan, Madeline, Isabelle, Cristian, Leo, Mia, and Joey.
Dimitra will be fondly remembered by her brother Georges (Popi) Metsovas, and all of her nieces, nephews family and many friends.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Westbury Manor for their care and compassion during her stay.
Resting at the Newediuk Funeral Home, Kipling Chapel, 2058 Kipling Avenue, Toronto (North of Rexdale Blvd), on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 1 Brookhaven Drive, Toronto at 10 a.m. Interment Glenview Memorial Gardens.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer's Society of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
