HENDRICKSON, Beverly Delores Elizabeth (nee Elliott) - It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Beverly Deloris Elizabeth Hendrickson, nee Elliott formerly of Morning Star, Nevis in the British West Indies, but who has lived in Toronto for the past 43 years.
She was born on March 28, 1952. She passed surrounded by her loved ones on Friday, September 6, 2019, at the Toronto Grace Health Centre.
She was a victim of a neuro-degenerative disease inconclusively known as Progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), that plagued her life for the past two to three years. It has been a tough few years for her and her family.
Beverly was the eldest of 7 children born to James and Marion Elliott. She was predeceased by her brother Evanson (March 12, 1964), father James and brother Kennedy (Aug. 1, 1970). She is survived by three children; sons Nevin and Ngozi, daughter Nekisha, and son-in-law Evraly. Her mother Marion, siblings Valarie Liburd and Tony in Toronto, and Rolston and Ricaldo in Nevis.
Also survived by many close family members including the Hughes and Edwards families in Toronto and St. Kitts, and the Elliotts and Manners families in Nevis. Many close friends in the nursing world, AME church and community too many to mention.
Visitation at Giffen-Mack funeral home, 2570 Danforth Ave, Toronto on September 13th from 2 - 4pm and 6 - 8pm.
Funeral Service at AME Grant Church, 2029 Gerrard St. East, Toronto on Setember 14th at 11:00 am. Burial at Mount Pleasant cemetery, Toronto.
Beverly is at Peace with The Lord.
