Storie NadineSTORIE, Sharon Nadine - (April 15, 1947 - September 11, 2019) - Passed away at the Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket suddenly, with family by her side.

Beloved wife to Harold Forrest Storie, loving mother of Jeffrey Duncan Storie (Morgan Storie) and John Collins Storie. Cherished grandmother of Ewan Robert Storie and Hayden Donald Storie.

Sharon married her only love, Harold Forrest Storie in June of 1969, 50 years ago. Sharon’s primary ambition in her life was to be a wonderful wife, and loving mother. She was the cornerstone of the family providing support and love everyday to her family so they could give their best to their careers and school.

Among the other major loves in her life, were her animals. As a little girl in Calabogie, Ontario she loved to go down to the stables with her father and tend to her pony. She fondly talked of these times. In more recent years her animal loves included three miniature schnauzers (Casey, Oliver, and Chloe), Daisey (grand dog) and her cat (Mr. Minty).

Later in life, the apples of Sharon’s eye were her two grandchildren Ewan and Hayden. She put all her energy into being a wonderful loving grandmother and she enjoyed spending time, laughing and doting on her grandkids at the cottage in Haliburton - whether that be a trip to the store for a treat, watching the boys play at the beach or closing out the night at the firepit! Her Kids - big and small - are heartbroken and will greatly miss their Nana.

Visitation will be held at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home, 8088 Yonge St., Thornhill, Ontario on Tuesday, September 17th from 6pm – 9pm. A private family funeral will be held later in the week.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Diabetes Association (www.diabetes.ca) or Heart & Stroke Foundation (www.heartandstroke.ca).
