MIGNARDI, Giulio - It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Giulio on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at the age of 90.
Beloved husband to the late Maria (nee Cristini).
He will be missed by his loving daughters Josie (Jack), Teresa (Alex), and Rita.
Survived by his dear companion Rosa.
Proud Nonno to Andrea (Jay), Krista, Laura (Jon), Stephanie (Justin), Andrew, Jessica; and Bisnonno to Eli, Ava, Grayson, Alex, and Elle.
He will be missed by his siblings Alessandro (Maria), Anna (the late Isidoro), Dimetrio (Anna), Attilia (Fernando); nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Giulio was born in Veroli, Italy on March 18, 1929 to his parents Augusto and Enrica Mignardi. Giulio first immigrated to Toronto, Canada in 1952 on his own to prepare a home for his wife and daughter who arrived a year later. Together they welcomed many other family and friends who reaped the rewards of their courageous move.
Proudly devoted to a career of 35 years as the Foreman to ConDrain Company Ltd.
Giulio will be remembered for his courage, love and devotion to his family, his work and all who knew him. Visitation will be held at Highland Funeral Home, Scarborough on October 6th from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. The funeral mass will take place at Epiphany of Our Lord Church, 3200 Pharmacy Avenue, Toronto on October 7th at 9:30 AM.
