Filippi MarioFILIPPI, Mario  -  Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday October 24, 2019 just two weeks away from his 90th birthday. Born in Amaseno, Frosinone - Italy.

Loving husband to wife Maria of 65 wonderful years.

Proud father of Anna (Tony Alicandro), Adele Lina (Joseph Sanguedolce). Cherished Nonno of Daniela (Rick Perciballi), Christian (Kathleen Almeida), Madeline and Claire.

Mario will be sadly missed by his many family and friends.

He overcame an early life of adversity to live a full life and was a pillar of strength to everyone who knew him and was always available to help anyone who needed it. Mario was devoted to his family and worked tirelessly to provide for them. He was an inspiration to his grandchildren who adored him. Mario had been a role model to his children and grandchildren which in turn will be carried down to future generations.

"You were truly one of a kind and will be dearly missed, we love you."

Friends and family will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge (west of Pine Valley Dr.) on Sunday, October 27th, from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Monday October 28, 2019 at 9:30 at Immaculate Conception Church (300 Ansley Grove Road, Woodbridge).. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the March of Dimes Canada or Villa Charities would be appreciated.
