COWIN, John Ernest - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ernie at the age of 85 at the Brampton Civic Hospital on November 19, 2019.
Ernie is survived by his wife Barbara, daughter Catherine and his son David (Ann).
Predeceased by his son John.
He is also survived by two brothers Harold (Gladys) and Herbert (Carole) of Windsor, Ontario.
Also survived by his sister Catherine Durley of St. Mary’s, Ontario.
Ernie is predeceased by his brothers Jack, Stanley and Bruce as well as his sisters Florence Barr and Evelyn Rossiter.
Lovingly remembered by his eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Sadly missed by his brother in law Joseph and the late Dolores (2014) of Beneteau of Amherstburg, Ontario, as well as Mary Jane McMullen (Cyril Lane 2014), Viola Babin (Jerry) of Tecumseh, Ontario and Susan McMullen (Harry DeJong) of Belle River, Ontario. Ernie will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Brampton Funeral Home, Brampton on November 22nd from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM. The service will take place in the chapel at 2:00 PM.
