COON, Thelma Maree (née Trickey) - Passed peacefully at the Hill House Hospice on November 22, 2019 having recently celebrated her 98th birthday.
She was the widow of the love of her life Allan Coon with whom she shared 55 years of marriage.
She leaves behind her sisters Norma Darling and Lois Hancey and was predeceased by her brothers Arthur and Bruce Trickey.
Thelma was a special aunt to Warren and Debbie Trickey and many other nieces and nephews.
She was a bookkeeper and always excelled in math. Thelma kept up with current events and never missed a day reading the Toronto Star. She always loved sitting on her backyard deck admiring her rose garden.
Visitation will take place at Marshall Funeral Home 10366 Yonge St. on Friday, November 29 at 10:30am, with a memorial service at 11am followed by refreshments. Internment will take place on Saturday, November 30, 11am at Thornbury/Clarksburg Union Cemetery.
