Ukrainetz JosieUKRAINETZ, Jocelyn Anne 'Josie' - (August 27, 1955 - December 12, 2019) - Our darling Josie passed away in her sleep, quite unexpectedly. She was 64.

Josie was all heart. She loved music, animals, and life very much, and being with family and friends. Strong-minded, sometimes contentious, her gratitude was full of joy. She met her challenges with resourcefulness, forgiveness, and bravery.

We are thankful that she knew she was loved by many people, and that she took great comfort in her faith.

She will be sadly missed by her family: proud loving mother of Eric, and of Austin (Jan & Rino); dear friend of their father Eric Free; sweet eldest sibling to Valerie, Arthur, Elizabeth and Patrick; beloved aunt of Jacqueline Rose; dear great aunt of Claudia (& Corgan), Skylar, and Keely; warm and loving spirit to many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; long-time member of the community at Dundas and Islington.

She joins her parents, Edward and Jacqueline, and her beloved best friend Barb.

The family extends special thanks to Gail and Janice for help and support for so many years.

A service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on January 18, 2020 at Islington Baptist Church, 50 Royalavon Cresent, Etobicoke, ON M9A 2E9.

Instead of flowers, please send donations to Islington Baptist Church, where she found warmth and comfort for many years; or to Community Living Toronto, who gave invaluable support throughout her life; or to a cause dear to you.
