FIORINI, Gerardo - Surrounded by his loving family, Gerardo passed away peacefully in his 84th year on Wednesday, January 8, 2020.
He was born in Scifelli-Frosinone to parents Costantino and Anatolia.
He came to Canada at the age of 16. Started working in the construction industry and became a general contractor specializing as a bricklayer. Later on, he spent over 20 years with the City of Toronto, Old City Hall as a custodian.
He leaves behind his wife, Alfonsina of 59 years and was a loving father to Teresa (Roberto, predeceased), Fred (Virginia) and Jerry.
A proud grandfather to Analisa, Marco, Matthew and Sophia.
Gerardo was a loving brother to Giuseppina Velocci, Santina Campoli (predeceased), Egino Fiorini (predeceased) Iolanda Cavicchia, Anna Fiorini, and Mario Fiorini (predeceased).
He will be missed by all his nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. He is now reunited with his predeceased family.
Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Homes, Dufferin chapel, Toronto on Saturday, January 11th, 2020 from 7:00pm - 9:00pm and Sunday, January 12th, 2020 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm and 6:00pm - 9:00pm. The service will take place at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 811 Lawrence Avenue West, Toronto on Monday, January 13th, 2020 at 10:00am.
