Tomlinson MurielTOMLINSON, Muriel Eunice (Chadwick) - Passed away peacefully on January 24, 2020 in Bracebridge in her 95th year with family by her side.

Muriel was predeceased by her loving and devoted husband Raymond, of 57 years.

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt, she is survived by her children Gerald (Tara), Jim (Peggy), Nancy (Jacques Houle); grand children Kristine (Bill Vanderwal), Laura, Raymond, Kurtis, Brock, Brittany, Stacey; great-grandson Clifford and brother Robert Chadwick (Shirley) and many nieces and nephews.

Muriel was born in Toronto on February 22, 1925 to Melville and Myrtle (nee McConnell) Chadwick and lived most of her life there before moving to Alliston in 1997, Peterborough in 2011, then Bracebridge in June 2019.

Muriel was extremely proud of her children and grandchildren and each visit gave her great delight, especially in later years.

She loved spending time at the cottage on Ril Lake and her winter vacations in Florida. Always outgoing, she had many friends and always treasured the times she spent with them. She especially liked entertaining them in her home or at the lake.

She will be fondly remembered for her love of dancing, playing cards and singing along to music. She also enjoyed giving back to the community through efforts with charities such as Meals on Wheels.

Friends and family can join us in celebrating Muriel’s life on Friday January 31, 2020 at the Central United Church, 131 Main St, Unionville, ON at 1:30 pm service followed by lunch and visitation.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
