Malfara JoeMALFARA, Giuseppe 'Joseph' Joseph passed away peacefully in his home on January 27th, 2020 at the age of 68 in Kitchener, Ontario.

He was born on May 3, 1951 in San Nicola da Crissa, Calabria, Italy to Nicola and Marianna (Carnovale) Malfara (predeceased).

He was the proud father of Nick (Diane), Nita (Dennis), Rocky (Maryanna), Jason (Danielle) and Kristen (Alexander). Grandfather to Nicole, Matteo, Abigail, Arik and Mia.

Was loved dearly by his late brother Rene (Rose) and surviving sister Teresa as well as his stepdad, the late Umberto and his children Franco (predeceased), Marisa, Rita, Anna, Louisa and their families. Joseph will be missed by all of his family and friends.

Joe “Pino”, could always hold up a good conversation and an even better debate. He enjoyed spending time in the kitchen creating new dishes and tending to his garden. He loved antiques, the challenge of a good game of Briscolla and all things real estate. Joe spent most of his career as a Realtor and was the proud owner and Broker of Record of Dial-A-Broker Realty Network Inc. for over thirty years. He renovated many homes over the years and also assisted as a project manager for numerous property developments.

The family will be holding a visitation on Friday, January 31st from 3-5pm and 7-9pm at Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge. The funeral will follow in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, February 1st at 11am. Interment to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, 305 Erskine Ave, Toronto (Mount Pleasant Rd and Lawrence Ave).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Mary’s General Hospital Foundation in Kitchener, ON.
