Franchi JennyFRANCHI, Jenny - (1938 - 2020) - Jenny Franchi maintained her grace and dignity with Alzheimer’s Disease while she fought a bitter battle against Heart Disease. She transitioned to God while being held tightly by her loving children in the early morning of January 28, 2020.

She touched the lives of too many people to count, especially her close family and inlaws. She was the daughter of the late Giovanni and Orlandina Margiotta (who she has not been with since her childhood).

Dear wife of the late Giulio. Precious mother of Johann and her husband John, Gloria and her husband Norm, and Paul and his wife Dana.

She was the best friend and “Nonna Jenny” of: Jennifer I., Anthony, John Paul and the late Patrick, Elise, Benjamin, Hudson, Jennifer D., Laura and her husband Michael, and affectionate great grandmother of Nicolas.

She was the dear sister of Silvio (Shirley), Aldo (Maureen), late Lisa (Ciro), late Lydia (Fiore), honoured in law to Iola (late Ardino), Frank (Nicki), late Livio (Tina) and late Albert.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy 7 (west of Pine Valley Dr.), Woodbridge, on Friday from 2-4 & 6-9 pm. Funeral service will be in the chapel on Saturday February 1st at 1:00 pm. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Sunnybrook Hospital Foundation (Hurvitz Brain Sciences Program) to the attention of Dr. Sandra Black, director. (Envelopes available at funeral home or see donate.sunnybrook.ca/tribute).
