LOMBARDI, Rosa - Died peacefully at Villa Colombo (Vaughan) Di Poce Centre on January 29, 2020 at the age of 89.
Beloved wife of the late Sante Lombardi.
Loving mother to Concettina (Giovanni Di Pirro), Lidia, Trieste (John McNeil), Elena (Wayne Toomey), Claudio (Juliana), Johnny (Mirian), and Mario (Ana).
Proud nonna of Lino (Silvia), Paolo (Nancy), Melissa (Anthony), Jonathan (Jenna), Kevin, Lisa (Anthony), Robert (Marsha), Kelly (Adam), Jennifer, Julian (Samantha), Anthony, Michael, and Emily and great-grandmother of Vanessa, Alisa, Jessica, Gianpaolo, Isabella, Emma, Noah, and Christian.
The family would like to extend to all the staff, and in particular her nurse Elena and Mirella, for their care and support throughout Rosa’s stay at Villa.
Visitations will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home, Dufferin Chapel, Toronto on Sunday from 1-3 and 4-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Nicholas of Bari Church, 1277 St. Clair Ave. W., Toronto on Monday, February 3, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow.
In memory of Rosa, donations may be made to Villa Charities or the Alzheimer Society.
