Farrugia AnthonyFARRUGIA, Anthony - It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Anthony Farrugia, on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at the age of 77, after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer.

He is grieved by his wife Rita, his daughter Pauline and her spouse Étienne, his daughter Ruth and her spouse Clint, as well as his sisters, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and many dear friends, both here and abroad.

Born in Malta in 1942 to a loving family, Anthony moved to Canada with his wife and daughters in 1975.

He was a kind, generous and soft spoken person who worked hard and never complained. Those who knew him appreciated his subtle and practical sense of humour and his ability to put people at ease with his listening skills.

Anthony had a passionate curiosity about nature, loved to cook, and could always be found keeping busy around the house and in his garden. Never a materialistic person, he appreciated the simpler things in life and was always ready to give anyone the shirt off his back in order to help.

Anthony will forever be remembered by all of the hearts he has touched throughout his lifetime.

Visitation will be held at Lynett Funeral Home, Toronto on Friday, February 7th from 2 – 5 p.m.

His Funeral Mass will take place at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 3224 Dundas Street West,Toronto on Saturday, February 8th at 2 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the War Amps of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
