DUNCAN, Doreen - Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 4, 2020 after a lengthy illness at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville at the age of 64.
Much loved daughter of Donald MacKenzie Bain and Theresa Bain.
Loving Mother of Nicole (Greg Norman) and Alison (Drew Everall).
Proud Grandmother of Sarah, Evan, Emily, Isabelle, Liam and Charlotte.
Dear sister of Duncan Bain (Rhonda) and family and the late Donald Bain (Marsha) and family.
Doreen will be sadly missed by her many other extended family members. She will be fondly remembered as a devoted friend and became like a sister to many whose lives she touched.
Doreen was a dedicated employee of Lakeridge Health Oshawa for 30+ years and always went above and beyond the call of duty. Doreen’s family would like to give a sincere thank you to; Mona, Ellen, Dr. Gapraeg, Martha, Anna, Dr. Islam, Elaine and Cassidy at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville. Visitation will be held at Thornton Cemetery, Cremation & Funeral Centres, Oshawa on Sunday, 9 Feb 2020 from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM followed by the service.
