Bujold ShellyBUJOLD, Shelly-AnneIt is with great sadness that the family of Shelly Bujold announces her passing following a valiant battle with ARDS, on February 7, 2020, at the age of 58. Shelly passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Mount Sinai Hospital.

Shelly was born in Toronto to her late parents Ida and Camille on September 14, 1961.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son Christopher, sister Joanne, brothers Norman and Dennis, by her nephews Stephen and Kevin, her niece Christina and her close friends.

Shelly loved the sun and had a passion for traveling, taking many vacations with family. Other past-times include listening to Queen, watching home-reno TV shows, and saving money. She hoped to see her son get married and have children, but will now only be able to watch from above.

We will miss her contagious smile and positive outlook on life. If Shelly didn't agree with you, she would be blunt about it. Shelly was the most genuine person you could ever meet. We will miss her phone calls, even if it was just to say 'hi' or just to tell us about a sale.

Those who so desire may make donations in memory of Shelly to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of Mount Sinai who cared for her in her last days, along with the doctors and nurses of Princess Margaret, Southlake and Toronto General Hospital who have cared for her in the past. We would like to thank Dr. Jeffery Lipton specifically for his ongoing care over the past ten years of treatment at Princess Margaret Hospital.

Visitation will be held at Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main Street South, Newmarket on Wednesday February 12th from 7-9 p.m and Thursday February 13th from 12-1 p.m. followed by a funeral service in the chapel at 1 p.m.
