NOTARO, Caterina - Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Dorothy Ley Hospice on Saturday, February 29, 2020 in her 90th year.
Caterina will now be reunited with her husband Rosario and son Carmelo.
Devoted mother of Rosalia (Salvatore) Mule, and Anna (Ed) Cairns. Adoring nonna of Angela (Sergio), Greg, Cathy (Matt), Lori (Eric) and great-grandmother of Jenna, Luca, Samantha, Isabella and Alessia.
Predeceased by her brothers the late Domenico, the late Filippo and the late Antonino (Rosalia). Caterina will be fondly remembered by her brother-in-law Mario (Sara), nieces, nephews family and friends.
The family would like to thank all the caregivers and personal support workers for their care and compassion.
Resting at Newediuk funeral home, Kipling chapel, 2058 Kipling Avenue (North of Rexdale Blvd.), Toronto on Monday, March 2nd from 2 - 4 p.m. and 6 - 9 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Transfiguration of Our Lord Church, 45 Ludstone Drive, Toronto, on Tuesday, March 3rd at 10:15 a.m. Entombment at Westminster Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
