SUNA, Ilga - Ilga passed away suddenly on February 27, 2020, at the age of 70, following complications from hip surgery.
She was the beloved wife of Indulis for 49 years, most wonderful mom to Ilze and mother-in-law to Steve, and cherished grandmother to Tristan, Elena, and Bradley.
Ilga had a remarkable career as a concert pianist, piano teacher and accompanist in both Latvia and Canada, and together with her husband Indulis, recorded and released 15 CDs featuring various music selections.
Her greatest joy was spending time with her three grandchildren Tristan, Elena, and Bradley, who will forever miss their loving ‘Dodo’.
She will live on forever in our hearts and will always be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and endless love for her family.
Visitation will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd.) on Wednesday, March 4th, 10:00am – 11:00am, and will be followed immediately by a funeral service.
