HELD, E. Gerald 'Gerry' - It is with great sadness that we announce Gerry's passing, on Sunday, March 8, 2020, following a difficult struggle.
Devoted husband of Lise Begin for twenty-five years.
Predeceased by Maris Held.
Beloved father and father-in-law of Kenny Held and the late Janis Roth; Howard Held and Naomi Ashkenazy.
Cherished grandfather of Rebecca and Carey Stein, Alyssa Held; Ryan Held, Marlee Held and Jesse Shuster- Leibner, and Jeremy Held.
Proud great- grandfather of Jade Ruby Stein.
Brother of Alan Held.
Gerry will be lovingly remembered by his sister-in-law Linda Freeman, as well as his friends and family and all who knew and loved him.
Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Wednesday, March 11 at 12:00 p.m. Burial at the Garden of Hope Section, Rideau Memorial Gardens Cemetery, D.D.O. Kenny's family will receive condolence calls from their Toronto friends on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 203 Mullen Drive, Thornhill.
