Davya Ramsey PelotDAVYA, Ramsey (Raymond Pelot) - (April 16, 1964 - March 8, 2020) - After a courageous battle with ALS, Ramsey passed peacefully with his brother Allen by his side.

Lovingly remembered by his family and friends, especially his Mother Myrella Pelot-Wright (Barry), Dan Pelot (Christine), Jean-Marc Pelot (Lisa) and Allen Pelot (Karen). Predeceased by his father John and sister Caroline.

Ramsey will be greatly missed by his many nieces and nephews and all the friends he gathered along his life’s journey through his many diverse musical interests and careers.

A talented musician, Ramsey created the progressive melodic and power metal band Angels of Fire (AOF). Music was one of his passions for which he was well known – having written and produced many tracks for AOF over the past 10 years.

A carpenter by trade, Ramsey also worked in construction and ran his own construction company (Concept Construction). He worked on many different projects beside his brother and best friend Allen, who is forever grateful to Ramsey for “teaching me so much."

Throughout his illness, Ramsey continued to attend Georgian College’s Kitchen & Bath Design program, where he excelled and was admired for his knowledge, and passion for design. He built a community of friends and faculty during this stage of his life, which brought him much joy during his darkest days. Thank you to everyone associated with this program who supported Ramsey – he loved you all.

Over the past few months during his battle with ALS, Ramsey was lovingly cared for by his brother Allen along with Karen and Avery. These months, although very difficult, were filled with a lot of love and kindness, music, and design.

Thank you to the health care teams who took care of Ramsey throughout his illness. We are forever grateful for your compassion and care.

Ramsey will be deeply missed by his brother in arms Allen.

“I found my way in this playful life, am I so clever now, I started walking on clouds…”

Arrangements entrusted with Roadhouse and Rose funeral home, Newmarket.
