Kontsalakis AlexKONTSALAKIS, Alex - (October 31, 1975 - March 2, 2020) -

Alex was the awesome bro of Nick and Nina and the pretty cool uncle to Moyra.

Much loved son of the late Chrisoula and Evangelos Kontsalakis and big daddy to Bella and Pancakes.

Being a Halloween baby, Alex loved everything and anything to do with Halloween. He was a super hero fanboy, Karaoke god, Godzilla fanatic, comic book geek, Guitar Wolf super fan and a collector of only the cheesiest horror films ever produced.

He enjoyed seeing concerts and tried to get his hands on a ticket for almost every 80’s and 90’s band that came to town. Travelling around the world to different concert venues was something that he was passionate about and filled his days with visiting newly found family members that spanned the globe.

Alex leaves behind a large and diverse group of friends, including the film and music community. He lived and laughed daily with all of you and his stories were rich with only the most joyous and hilarious moments. We were so very lucky to have known his kind and generous spirit, although it just wasn’t long enough for any of us. He still had quite a few songs left in him to sing.

Please join us to say adios to Alex at the Paul O’Connor Funeral Home, 1939 Lawrence Avenue East, Scarborough, Ontario M1R 2Y8 on Sunday, March 22nd from 2:00-4:00pm. Please do not send flowers or bring any tears. Dress like Alex did every single day by wearing a concert, band, gaming, superhero, Blue Jays or Raptors T-shirt.
