WALKER, Valda - With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of our beloved Mother/Grandmother, Valda Walker, aged 71 years, on Saturday, March 18, 2020.
She leaves behind her sons, McArthur Walker, Ottodex Walker, Laban Walker, Jasen Walker and daughters Charmaine Walker- Chin, Lavonne Burke-Douse, and Opal Burke-Jackson.
Valda will be sadly missed by families and her many friends.
Special thanks to the doctors, nurses, entire staff and volunteers at the Oncology and Rehab units at Markham-Stouffville Hospital for the wonderful care and support given to Mom in her last days with us.
Visitation will be held at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, Markham on Saturday, March 28th, 2020 from 10:00am - 11:00am. The service will follow at 11:00 AM in the chapel.
