Rodrigues AngelaRODRIGUES, Angela Irene - Born in Kingstown, St. Vincent January 11, 1922, to James and Emily (nee DeNobriga). Returned to God peacefully on March 15, 2020 at the age of 98.

Angela, the youngest of nine children was, predeceased by Archie, Irwin, Audrey, Rosalind, Otto, Lawrence, Delphine and Cyril.

She moved to Trinidad at a young age and later raised her family there, before immigrating to Canada.

She will be missed by her nephews and nieces who now live across the globe, primarily in England, Cyprus and the United States. Loving mother to Charles-Leslie (Ingrid), Steve (deceased)(Paula), Ann Marie (Peter), and Andre (deceased). Loving grandmother to Jamie(Amy), Renee, Monique, Andrew and Adam(Alexandra).  Great Grandmother - “GG”  to Hudson and Everett.

Angela was a good and faithful servant of God.  She will lovingly be remembered for her devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, for her generosity of spirit to the poor, the needy and the suffering, for her kindness, devotion, strength and everlasting love for her dear children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, friends and family, as well as everyone she met.

She was a long time member of the CWL.

She loved to ‘lime’, and always made sure to feed you whenever you visited her home. She made a ‘wicked’ pelau back in the day - Many could attest! Everyone stopped by, especially on Carnival days for her ‘pelau’. Her doors were always open. She lived by “if you feed the least of my children, you feed Me."

‘Angie’ was truly blessed and will be dearly missed.

All are welcome to visit on Wednesday, March 18, from 10:00 am. at Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Ave. E., Scarborough, M1S 1T3. Followed by the funeral Mass at 11:30 am. at St. Joseph’s Church, 200 Morrish Rd, Highland Creek, M1C 1E8. Interment at Highland Memory Gardens, 33 Memory Gardens Lane.

The family sincerely thanks those who would like to make a donation to: The St. Vincent de Paul Society in Angela’s name.
