Figliano MillieFIGLIANO, Mildred Helen 'Millie' - Passed away peacefully due to a short battle with cancer on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at the age of 75.

Proud mother of Stephanie (Chris Tillger), Fortunato and Christopher. Cherished Baba of Jacob, Liliana, Max, Taylor, Tristen, Zachary and Elenia.

Loving sister to the late George (Linda) and the late Barbara Ann (Peter).

Loving Aunt to Catherine (Bernard) and Anne-Marie. Millie will be missed by her great nieces and her cousins especially in Pennsylvania.

Millie was born in Timmins, Ontario to Stephen and Magda Tancrajteron March 6 1945, she was the youngest of three children. Memorably noted in helping to set up the Toronto Blue Jays franchise in 1977, where shortly after she left to start her family.

Always known for her dirty humour and quick wit, along with her vast amount of knowledge from her love of crossword puzzles and reading. Millie looked forward to her annual trips to see her cousins in Masontown which were filled with her bargain hunting shopping sprees, and her love/hate relationship for the one-armed bandit, bringing along anyone who would join her.

Her ultimate love “to the moon and back” for her seven grandchildren will always be remembered and cherished. Mark, Gail, Annie and all her close friends you will forever be in her heart.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will follow at a later date. Arrangements entrusted with Ward Funeral homes, Toronto.
