WHITE, Ruth - It is with great sadness that the family of Ruth White announces her peaceful passing on the evening of Wednesday April 8, 2020 at the age of 86.
The wife of her one and only love the late Gordon H. White.
Beloved and devoted mother of Jeff and Faith White, Myles White, Jason and Barbara White and of the late and dearly loved and missed Pennie Dekker.
Beloved grandmother to Jordana Michelle White.
Ruth was born and lived her life in Toronto. She was a devoted mother who through many trying years, after her dearly beloved Gordon was taken from her almost 48 years ago looked after her four children on her own.
She worked tirelessly to look after and nurture her four children. This was a task that was exceptionally difficult, but one she did tirelessly. She was defined by her dedication to her children and grand-daughter.
She will be greatly missed in the years to come by all her family. She is at peace finally after a long difficult struggle with Parkinson's Disease.
Special thanks to the staff of the Valleyview Nursing Home for all their efforts in making her comfortable over the last three years.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic a funeral and Shiva is not possible.
