Morana ConcettinaMORANA, Concettina - 1933 - 2020 - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Concettina Morana (nee) Paglialunga) on Friday, April 11, 2020 at Providence Healthcare.

Beloved wife of the late Pietro.

Loving mother to Salvatore (predeceased), Sebastiano (Margot), Carmen (Kelly), Corrado (predeceased).

Nonna will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Peter James (Jackie), Matthew (Amanda), Elyse (Alex), Peter and Jacob, her great-grandsons Marcus and Austin and her many nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her sister Antonietta Bugliarisi and brothers Sebastian Di Pietro and Paul Di Pietro.

Concettina was predeceased by her brothers Corrado Paglialunga and Tony Di Pietro.

Concettina and her husband Pietro immigrated from Pachino, Italy in 1953 to provide a better life for their forthcoming family. She was a devoted and dedicated wife and mother who will forever be remembered for her wonderful family meals, her sense of humour, her honesty and words of wisdom.

Due to Covid 19 there will be no visitation and a private internment will take place at Highland Memorial Gardens.

The family is very grateful for the love, support and prayers through this difficult time. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff at Scarborough Grace Hospital and Providence Healthcare for their care and compassion.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Concettina’s memory to The Kidney Foundation of Canada.
