Capozzoli LucidoCAPOZZOLI, Lucido - It is with profound sorrow, we mourn the passing of our beloved father Lucido, on April 3, 2020 at the age of 85.

Lucido will forever be remembered as a beloved husband of the late Lina (June 19, 1988) and the late Lucia (March 5, 2017), his second wife.

Cherished and loving father to Angela (Steve Infanti) and Gino (Maggy), and step-father to Sam, Bruno (Razia), Rob (Brenda) and Marisa (Felix).

Proud Nonno of Gustavo (Selena), and Jasinta, his dog, who was his pride and joy, and great-grandfather to Alexis and Emiliano.

Lucido loved and was deeply devoted to his family. There was nothing he wouldn’t do for them. He was a strong and independent man, and hard worker. He enjoyed dancing, listening to music, his garden, fishing, and socializing with his close friends.

During this unprecedented situation with COVID-19, it is with very heavy hearts that our family has made the difficult decision to hold a private funeral on Monday, April 6, 2020 with our immediate family, in honor of our dear father, Lucido Capozzoli. We have chosen to do this in order to minimize the threat of spreading the coronavirus. Ultimately, we recognize that the health and safety of our family and friends comes first. We appreciate your love and support at this time, and we welcome your messages of condolence.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre (Sunnybrook Foundation).

We would like to extend our gratitude and thanks to the staff in the emergency department and Palliative Care Unit at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre for their care and support of our father.

A tribute and celebration of his life will be held at a later date, when it is safe to do so.
