STILO, Francesco - (1931 - 2020) - Francesco passed away on April 16th, 2020 following a heart attack.
He is survived by Giuseppina, his loving wife of 54 years, and his children Tom (Lori), Rosa(Jim) and Vickie (David) and adoring grandchildren Dylan, Daniel, Matthew and Michael.
He was born in Filogaso, Calabria, Italy. At the age of 18, he travelled to Argentina where he worked tirelessly for several years to earn an income, build a home and send money to his family in Italy while also working to complete his education.
Eventually he returned to Italy where he met Giuseppina. After getting married, they decided to join some of his brothers and sisters in Toronto where they settled. Here they raised their family with the same strong work ethic they grew up with.
Francesco never stopped providing for his family. Even after a workplace accident and debilitating illness, he never stopped trying to improve and contribute to the lives of his family.
He will be dearly missed.
