BONOFIGLIO, Gerardo 'Jerry' Mario - God called Gerardo peacefully on May 11, 2020 at the age of 67.
He is forever loved by his wife Connie.
Cherished by his dear children Sonya (Steve Tropea), and Ivana (David Fazari). Proud Nonno of Marco Tropea, Alessandra Tropea, Dante Fazari and Mauro Fazari.
Dear brother, son-in-law and brother-in-law. He will also be missed by all his nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and many good friends.
Gerardo was a selfless hard-working man who respected and loved unconditionally. He welcomed you into his home and life without reservations, without judgment; it was an instant connection and a forever friendship. He left an impression as soon as you met him. A true gentleman with a beautiful soul and a gentle touch.
His heart was full and his life was complete with his true loves, his family. You could see how proud he was of his family in the way he looked at them. His eyes told a story. He will be missed by many and he will always be remembered for the kind, loving, respectful human being he was.
Private family viewing and entombment.
If so desired, donations in memory of Gerardo can be made to Hospice Vaughan, the Lung Association or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
We are honored and pleased to be able to webstream the private ceremony from the Vescio Funeral Home Maple Chapel on Friday May 15th at 11:30 a.m. Private Entombment will follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens (on Albion Rd., at Hwy #27).
For the safety of the family and friends public visitation will not take place at the funeral home.
