Lee JonLEE, Jonathan 'Jon' - (November 14, 1970 - May 12, 2020) -

is with profound sadness that we share the death of Jon Lee, who passed away suddenly at home on May 12, 2020.

Jon shared 18 years of marriage with his beloved wife Beth, and was the very proud and loving father of Adrianna.

A devoted eldest son to Christina and Louis, a wise and patient older brother to Wayne and Justin, and a dear uncle to Gavin, Oliver, Louisa, Christina, Ashleigh, Matthew, Karl and Jacob.

He enjoyed deep and lasting family bonds with his uncles, aunts and cousins, and strong and loving friendships with his Sudbury buddies. Jon will be sorely missed by his many nieces and nephews, by his mother-in-law Carol, and his sisters- and brother-in law Kim and Kevin, Minh and Terry.

He was a kind and dedicated teacher to his students and friends at Barrie North Collegiate.

Jon loved to help and guide others on their path, whether it be on a dungeons and dragons adventure, a fishing trip, in a math class, and especially with his daughter Adrianna. He consistently chose quiet, patience, gentleness and good humour as his brand of wisdom.

We love you Jon. We will think of you always when we catch a good fish (or watch it get away), see a beautiful sunset or solve a tricky problem. You always figured things out for us. We can look up how to save our corrupted hard drive, change that leaky faucet, keep that last fish in the aquarium alive, but it’s your thoughtful, unflagging kindness and quiet leadership that is harder to replicate. Together we will try, guided by the grace of your living, which has left the world a better place.

Rest in peace and love.

A private family service will take place on Sunday, May 17th at 11:30 am. If you wish to take part in the service you can watch the service live using the link provided. http://distantlink.com/dlm39.html  Password: Arbor2020  Arrangments with Taylor funeral home, Newmarket.
