Smith MarianneSMITH, Marianne (Fraser) - August 16, 1946 –May 15, 2020 - It is with sadness we announce Marianne’s passing into the arms of her LORD Jesus Christ in the early morning on Friday, May 15, 2020.  

She was surrounded by the love of her family. 

She will be deeply missed by Don, her devoted husband of 51 years, her daughters Allison Killins (Thaddeus), Jennifer Petkovic (Peter) and her grandchildren Jonathan, Samantha,Thomas and Ryan. 

She will be missed by her brother Douglas Fraser (Ramona), sister Judith Coates (Stan) and sister-in-law Ruth Fraser.

Marianne was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Florence Fraser, her brother Jim Fraser and grandson Benjamin Petkovic.

Marianne impacted countless lives, including aunts, uncles,cousins,nieces and nephews and dear friends. She had a strong faith which influenced every aspect of her life. 

Special thanks to the wonderful doctors, nurses and support workers who provided such compassionate care and support.

A private family service will be held. A celebration of life is planned for a future date. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in Marianne’s name to the Markham-Stouffville Hospital Foundation, the MS Society of Canada or Compassion Canada would be greatly appreciated.
