Adamo VitoADAMO, Vito - On May 16, 2020 at North York General Hospital, Vito died peacefully at the age of 93 years knowing that he was loved by his family.

Born April 11, 1927 in Vita Trapani, Sicily. Vito courageously arrived in Canada with his brothers (Pino and Baldo) in 1959, in hopes of creating a better life.

Vito, after continuously working as a cabinet maker decided to return to Italy and marry the love of his life. After returning with a new bride and baby on the way, he continued his carpentry work.

During his active years he donated his time to helping neighbours and family to build religious altars. He continued his passion as a home gardener which he learned from his father in Sicily.

With his wife watching from above, he continued to be a loving and generous grandfather for the both of them. With a strong will, he stayed in his home where he was surrounded by loving memories of his family.

Vito is preceded in death by his loving wife Angelina, after sharing 43 years of marriage.

Vito is survived by his sons Tony (Francine) and Sal (Josie).

He was generously loved by his granddaughters Bianca, Daniella, Isabella, Chiara and Siena.

He will be remembered and held dear in the heart of family, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held at May 23rd from 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM followed by the service and entombment.
